Biography
Kyle Brandon Robin Bennett is a Trinidadian mechatronics engineer, inventor, researcher, writer, and multidisciplinary creator.
Kyle grew up in D’Abadie, Trinidad and Tobago, surrounded by problems that demanded practical imagination: flooding, unstable infrastructure, uneven access to tools, and the everyday necessity of making things work.
That environment shaped a lifelong habit of taking ideas apart, combining disciplines, and building physical answers. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering Technology from PennWest California, graduating cum laude.
His work now spans robotics, mechanical intelligence, product design, spatial computing, engineering education, and creative writing. The common thread is simple: turn the imaginary into real things.
A multidisciplinary practice
Engineering is the backbone, but design, research, storytelling, and community leadership are part of the same practice.
Mechatronics, CAD, rapid prototyping, embedded systems, robotics, and physical product development.
Mechanical intelligence, biomimetic underactuation, accessible robotics, and the history of machines.
Writing and media that make complex technical ideas understandable, human, and memorable.
The goal is not to appear multidisciplinary. The goal is to use whatever discipline makes the idea real.
